Profit optimization

The simulation module enables the unit, along with the whole CHP plant behaviour in various operation conditions, to be examined. The basis of the module is a model based on mass balance and thermal balance, and characteristics are determined from the data collected in the process database. The model is static, and the module operates offline.

The simulation enables, among others, the following dependencies to be determined:

 

• The selection of operation variant that ensures optimum profit
• The influence of altered fuel parameters on the technological and economic indicators
• The behaviour of technological and economic indicators at various loads
• Determining the influence of steam parameter changes in power and heat production
• The influence of heating water parameters on unit operations
